Hahaha, totally dodged a bullet Wednesday. Apparently I turned my alarm off and went back to sleep, and then completely missed the class that the paper was due in. I caught the tail end of the class, apologized profusely to the teacher and told her I had e-mailed it to her. Luckily she was all cool about it, even though she'd previously told the class she doesn't accept late work at all. Maybe because it's my first offense and all that. But yeah. Felt like a complete and utter moron up to that point.
I was chatting with one of my classmates and apparently this chick was arrested for attempting to strangle one of her classmates with a computer cord. Her excuse? "She was criticizing me." And this girl's a Lit major! How the hell do you become a Lit major when criticism makes you homicidal? A guy in my class was actually the one who finally brought her down, so we were all giving him the thumbs-up during class today.
Oh, I saw the demolition of the Sands building in AC! It was awesome! They had fireworks going off and about six or seven searchlights, and then they started the explosions (which sounded like this really cool drumbeat for some reason) and the whole building just collapsed! My roommate and I were cheering like utter morons. I don't know what it is about destruction that brings us people together, but it's a beautiful thing. :p
As you can see, I finally changed my boring old default icon that I've had for... what? Six years? I figured I needed a PW icon to mirror my growing obsession with this game. Why isn't court this much fun in real life?
