Jacob raises his eyebrows, and she knows that look. He has an idea. She lies back on the bed, staring at the ceiling fan. The sunset peeks through the closed blinds.
He comes back with a cigarette in his mouth. "I need a lighter."
She grabs one from her purse and lights it up for him. "And this helps me how?"
"You'll see." He coughs, and she laughs. "I'm getting lung cancer for you. I call that bravery."
She takes the cigarette from his mouth, holding it between two fingers. She guides it to his lips, resting her head on his shoulder. "Just suck on it. Don't inhale or exhale." The cigarette tail flickers, and she removes it from his mouth. "Now exhale."
A puff of smoke releases from his lips. "Kinky."
"So, your point?" she asks.
Turning around, he cups her face with one hand and puts the cigarette onto the ashtray with another. He leans on her, his tongue sliding against hers, and he tastes of tobacco and warmth. Soon she will too.
Jacob smirks, "Well, that's two bad habits in one day."
Tanya will burn him out eventually, making him smaller and smaller. She waits for the day when he'll dissipate.

also, you and ofadoration MAY YET convert me to this pairing. i don't know how to reconcile this with edward/tanya, which is one of my favorites? but i am willing to try.

edward was previously in a relationship with tanya, came to forks, fell for jacob. (cause we all know it would happen.)
then tanya somehow meets jacob, gets pissed off, hate!sex.
edward walks in and lo and behold, ot3.
