She flashed him a small smile in return, her chocolate brown eyes staring up at him with warmth and curiosity.
"What is it, Bella?" he asked, his hand stroking the side of her face, leaving a trail of fire on her skin in its wake.
Nothing nearly escaped her lips, but she changed her mind at the last second. "I..." She paused, her cheeks flushing from embarrassment.
A small smile lit up his face at the sight. This had always been his favorite side of her.
"I was just realized that we've never actually kissed since we've been together. I mean, a little peck here and there, but..." Her cheeks burned crimson, her stomach uneasy. "So, I was thinking that maybe we should... try ( ... )

"Jasper." Bella said when she saw him waiting by her truck, "What are you doing here? Where's Edward?"
"Oh. He had to go hunting. He didn't tell you?"
"No. I haven't seen him all day." She looked sad at this point, and Jasper felt his heart rip apart ever so slightly. I guess she really does love him.
"Oh.. well, I can keep you company?"
"Actually.. I should probably get going." She turned and walked away.
He wanted nothing more than to call after her, but he couldn't. After everything Edward had done for him, he just couldn't.
A/N: Sorry if this sucked. Haven't written fan fiction before ;)

"She chose the wolf," he forces out, pushing across the threshold and past her into the house and out of the cold. Nervous energy has his fingers twitching, his limbs shifting. As Tanya turns her back to the shut door, she takes one look from head to toe and makes up her mind.
Granite on marble, ice on snow, both of them are reaching for something with every touch - he remembers, as he does every time, what it feels to have an equal, but she sees the dullness in his eyes, and deliberately stops paying attention.
They're so damn perfect for each other. ♥

I ship Edward/Tanya to get him away from Bella? Haha, but no, it's so much better than Edward/Bella in my mind, and we don't even know Tanya in canon. Muahaha.
