well my friends, of course, here i sit at adie knox. to be honest, i have been reading livejournal every weekend for the past couple of months while i sit here at work lacking anything else to do.. and like aislinn, sheeva has been my inspiration to start posting again. i guess i always kind of missed it but i just stopped.. but now i am back in the game.. and i am glad that aislinn and sheeva are too.
my summer has been mediocre-ly exciting thus far. i have been working between 5 and 7 days a week for the last two months, which has left me little time to sit back and enjoy the sacred 3 months that are summer. after realizing that there is only one month left, i have made the decision to enjoy the weather an the time as much as i can. i swan with sheeva yesterday, set up my hammock in the back yard today and as of thursday morning, i will be on vacation to grand bend and toronto until sunday. so far i think i am off to a good start.
i just want to go out and have fun. i want to feel good and look good and know it and own it haha.. so i have decided to work on this too. i thought that you would all like to know that apparenetly.. and any one else who would like to join in on this, please feel free.
im not really feeling enough feelings at the moment for a traditional lj post so instead, i will now share with you my critique of the incubus concert: obviously i thought it was amazing since they are my favourite band... ever. i had been waiting for that concert since 2004 and finally i got to experience it again.. as a more seasoned and experienced incubus fan. unfortunately, i was slightly disappointed with them. first and foremost they cancelled their show.. twice which was highly disappointing and then when they set the date for the show that i attended, it was no longer at a small and intimate venue as all of their other shows had been.. it was atpine knob.. a huge venue. whatever, im over that. but the least that i thought they could do was play an extended set. however, no such luck, they played what seemed to be a rather short set. though i do have to say that they played amazingly. they sound awesome live and play so well. they played a lot of old songs which was awesome and they closed their encore with aquious transmission which actually made my life complete. all in all though i was disappointed about the set length it was an amazing show! i was so happy to get to see them again and they rocked it hard... now i start to wait until they come back again.
okay, i think that it is clear that i have nothing of importance to say.
