TWO: We can't assume to know -- who we-- really are!
Since we change............ from moment to moment!
Is it a trampoline or a tiger trap?
Don't know!
Don't take a chance! Paint it out!
FOUR: It's like we gotta monkey around,
We gotta run around and around it.
We just gotta touch it,
we gotta touch and it's dangerous,
so, [goes behind glass bicks and returns with her shirt over her head]
"True or False -- most of us would rather show our faces?"
TWO: She gives malted mik ball parties!
Everyone crowds around a neon table to watch the balls.
When balls fall off the table, it's real funny, and everyone is
supposed to laugh.
ONE: Trying to be relaxed is not calm,
My neck cramps up. So, I have another cup of coffee.
Lips quiver -- acting like your calm -- lips stick to teeth.
Im coming home exhausted. I'm so glad to finally be able to cool out.
I'm making a package of noodles,
I sit down, by myself, in peace to eat.
The phone rings.
I decide im eating,I don't have to answer.
I don't want to answer it, I don't want to be disturbed at all.
But the phone keeps ringing -- I keep eating.
And it rings and rings and rings.
It keeps ringing far longer than any normal phone call rings.
Finally, to shut it up, I pick it up.
Hello!
Is the lady of the house in?
Fuck you! If you ever fucking call again, I"ll
blow your head off!
FOUR: It wakes me several times in the night.
We are constant feeders,
I can't think of a single waking moment, Im not feeding
Through seeing, or hearing, or tasting or touching, or whispered sensing
And i really can gulp down a lot of information.
I was impressed to discover that whales don't have to eat for eight months.
But when they do feed,
They form large circles and blow bubbles.
They turn vertical and tread water, tails down.
And, of course they're all singing at the top of their lungs -- whale songs.
Each one more beautiful, more siren-like, direct-to-the-heart, than the last.
The herring are freaked!
They form a tight group; "The secret society of herring."
They blow bubbles themselves and try to sing along.
They try their whole fishy selves to follow the dancing dots.
And while they're busy singing and chattering with one another they
lose sight of themselves -- they forget biolocical necessities, they
forget about checking their depth level, and float up.
Boy, these whales take a big gulp!
They open wide -- thirteen feet wide.
They leap straight up into space, mouths open.
Water and herring all at once!
Once outside -- in the ocean, inside -- in the whale.
Whales are so much more develpoed than we realize.
They come equipped to strain, to seperate -- that which they should take
in, that which they shouldn't take in.
Whales leak instinctively.
What's a strain for us, is instinct for a whale.
Whales are hemarroid free.
With their giant strainers the sperate water from herring, and under sea greens.
You see, whales can't the differnce.
They know right from wrong.
They learn it young in whale school throughout whale ethics.
They censor only the bad -- what's not good for them.
Two much salt would make anyone throw up.
