The 4/20 show was epic. Being that is was the day of smoking pot and hitler's birthday my friends decided to take advantage of it. I created some ghetto hand drawn kids in the hall show and decided "cheech it up" before the show like the guys had assumed fans would do, at least for this particular show. When I walked from the train and saw the giant glowing sign with The Kids in The Hall tour on it, I began to get really excited. Finally it was time to see my idols. I felt even better because I had extra tickets and decided to give them to a true KITH fan, rather than the crazy black man who was trying to take em from me and scam people with a higher price. The kid I gave em too was laughing when I denied the other guy my ticket and told me "us kids in the hall fans gotta stick together. we're one of a kind" ahah I couldn't help, but I agree. Anyway, I go and find out my seats are front row to the left section, aisle seats. WHAT?! i thought I was 6th row at least. That was a surprise. Then I sit there and the mix they had playing was letting out some pretty terrific tunes. After the guys come out for the opening, I was just in a daze from then until the show ended. I made sure to try shout and scream and just enjoy every moment. Which I did very well I believe.

But the almost best part. I got my head crushed. Yess! Oh yess! And it was quite fun for me because hell... I love being on camera. So I made sure to make it memorable for all of those few minutes I was on screen. It was great, even though I kinda blacked out from the excitement and don't really remember it, just pieces. Mark handed out a little rose and I just felt all giddy inside. It made my night.

After the show, I waited and waited and met Bruce, but that was all. When I met Bruce I told him he was an inspiration and had him sign my film class schedule then took a photo. He seemed so timid, but very approachable. There was an after party so the guys were inside and the producer from the DVD or the director or whoever that guy was came out and I didn't realize at first, but he was like "you were the girl that got her head crushed" indeed. Thanks for knowing. hahaha I felt good about that. And told me that if they left they would go from the front. So of course I continued to wait there.

I wish I met the rest of the guys, but I couldn't chill in the city until 2am for their after party to end.. although I would've. Especially if I met Dave, it's on my list of things to do because he is my biggest inspiration. So hopefully I can do that one day, but until then I have a small goal to strive for.

Aw man. All of that night was such a dream come true. These guys were and are my inspiration. So yes. Ballin'
