Well what to do? I'm tired, but can't sleep at 2am. If I was at school right now I'd probably be out wandering campus or chilling in someone's dorm until we decided it's time to go to bed. But no, I'm just in the basement trying to entertain myself. Going out was an idea, but I knew I'd be unable to drive home because I pass out in cars when it's late. But once I reach a bed though.. I'm wide awake again.

My life? Well I went to a Man Man show. The 3rd one since I've learned about them and I will say a very good one. Sold out and quite squished against the stage I still managed to sing and dance along to every song. My friend John and I got plastic medals from the drummer for being such good fans or something. I love Man Man, they're so much fun to be around and completely content with their shows because everyone goes wild. EVERYONE! Epic to say the least.

What else? I've been doing work study for Tony P, which usually winds up being us just talking forever in his office about the times he went to Russia or his crazy childhood water skiing championship days or the backpack of bud he got at 14. Today he gave me a real job to do and boy oh boy was I excited. Not really.. but I faked enthusiasm about it. I had to take all the business cards he got over who knows how long and put the info into his e-address book. The job did not get completed today because I came home, but it's cool. He's chill about it. Plus I got distractions because everyone was happy it was the weekend or something. I'm not really sure.

For film I've been working on a movie called "you've been fished" and it's looking nice. If I pull this off, it'll be just the thing I need to prove that I have what it takes to be a filmmaker of sorts. The days are winding down at Montclair, but I'm managing to organize shoots and actors and sets and equipment to complete it. It's exciting.

Life has been so busy lately I've had hardly enough time to think about much. I've started to try and exercise now that it's warm again in efforts lose the freshman 15. It would be a lot easier if I was home. I lost 5 lbs in less than a week just chilling and what not. But on campus I've gotta actually work out. OH well. It's better for me to do that anyway.

The most exciting news is Kids in the Hall in one week!!!! JOY!! although I have no idea what I'm gonna say once I finally meet them (yes they meet their fans afterwards and chat)It's still BALLIN! (i started saying that because it was funny..now it's part of my vocabulary)

second most exciting: over 170 cops were on my campus on Thursday. Snipers were on the roofs of my dorm hall, the one across from mine, and University Hall. Plus just a bunch of insanely dressed police and tons of cars/motorcycles/trucks for the po po. They were everywhere. It was so great because the day was beautiful. The first really nice day we've had since spring had sprung at MSU so everyone decided to cut class...due to the shooting threats... and instead play outside. The scene was pretty much a beach party minus the beach. Music, people playing catch, riding bikes, chilling, reading, laughing.... and then snipers on the roof and cops everywhere. The juxtapostion of it all was hilarious. I deemed it Sniper Day. We hope to have one every year.

And don't think I'm being a jerk about all this and not taking things seriously. The threat was written on a desk in Dickson Hall..there's shit all over the desks in Dickson Hall. I guarantee that someone wrote a violent threat as a joke and then someone randomly penciled in a date. I draw on desks in Dickson Hall, it's where the most boring classes take place. But yeah.. how's everyone else?
