Random thoughts and friending meme
Random thought: James T. Kirk + Spock = Sherlock Holmes, Robert Downey Junior. And of course Bones/McCoy = Watson, Jude Law.
Amusing thing (for me): The remake of Red Dawn stars not the Russians but the Chinese as the invaders. Unless I missed something recently, I'm pretty sure that US-China relations are pretty good. At least the Russians were plausible. If I see this movie, it's totally to laugh my head off at the total WTF-ness and also at the reactions of people realizing that I'm Chinese.

What got you into Transformers?:
The live-action 2007 movie. And probably Beast Wars and the Unicron trilogy, but I don'r remember much of those so it would definitely be the 2007 movie.
Give us a little bit about yourself:
Asian fangirl going to UCR. In the Honors program. Hated writing until 10th grade (ironic, I know). Always loved reading, specifically fantasy and mystery.
Autobot or Decepticon?:
Er . . . Seeker/Doorwinged(Datsun)? I blame Sanjuno's Nine Rings epic. Between Autobots and Decepticons is hard to choose, but I'd probably be Autobot or Neutral. CR/RiD's Predacons are amusing, though.
Favorite Continuity(ies):
G1, though all my knowledge comes from the Transformers Wiki and fanfic; Car Robots/Robots in Disguise, though I haven't written much for it; and Movieverse (2007/2009). Oh, and Animated, but I haven't really written anything for that either.
Favorite Character(s):
Robots: Prowl (G1, Animated, CR/RiD, Movieverse representations), Jazz (G1, Animated, Movieverse despite a short appearance), Sunstreaker and Sideswipe (G1 and Movieverse representations - though why RotF didn't have Sunstreaker's an excellent question), Skids/Mudflap (Movieverse - and why'd they create new twins anyway?). Oh, and all members of the Ghost Unit (noncanon, search The Ghost Unit on fanfiction.net or LiveJournal to find it.)
Humans: Miles, especially if I can nail down his character more, Reginald/Seymour (WTF name change?), Will Lennox, Annabelle Lennox (for cuteness factor), Judy Witwicky . . . may be expanding the list.
Favorite Pairing(s):
Prowl/Jazz, Starscream/Thundercracker/Skywarp, Simmons/Leo, Sideswipe/Jolt (Movieverse until further notice), Sunstreaker/Sideswipe/Bluestreak, Sam/Mikaela. Open to new pairings as long as they're written well enough.
Least Favorite Character(s):
Um . . . none coming to mind right now. Oh, wait - Galloway. And I can't think of anyone else.
Other Fandoms You Like:
Supernatural, though I'm not that up-to-date yet; Sherlock Holmes (books and RDJ movie), Detective Conan/Case Closed and Magic Kaito (the two are crossover-y; note that I prefer the Japanese fan translations and not the mutilated English names), NUMB3RS, The Boondock Saints + sequel, Harry Potter series if written well enough, Star Trek (reboot, but I want to expand to the other 'verses, which is suicide at this point), Firefly/Serenity (but mutilated Chinese pinyin gives me too much of a headache when I'm trying to figure out what's meant) . . . and again, suicide, but I'm free to expansion.
