I foresee Earth II being EXTREMELY alternate-universe
Why? I just rewatched Revenge of the Fallen - the movie I'm basing the main plot of Earth II on. I took notes on all the plothole-type things, figuring that there wouldn't be all that much to change.
I found 207 items to change. That's pretty much 1 thing for every minute the movie was running, counting the part of the credits which involved the brief scenes. Admittedly, some of them were things I just went "WTF?" on and noted down, but still.
And that's NOT counting for the AU changes I know I'll have to make.
. . . Fragging Pits, writing the 1984 AU is going to take forever.
I'll post the list for anyone interested eventually. First I need to edit out some parts, and possibly add even more.

Edit: Realized three more things to add to the list. I suppose I should be glad it's a nice round 210 now, and three things shouldn't make that much of a difference, but still.
