Aww! I don't think I've ever had someone friend me because of my fic before!

Note: I post very few fic on my journal (it's mostly my whiny personal ramblings--right now I'm studying for the bar exam so you'll hear about the law far more than you may want.)

But, I'd love to call you friend--so I've added you! You look quite interesting too. Can't wait to get to know you more.

PS I've gone on a massive Fawkes/Codex fic binge recently. Is that normal? They're exactly my kinda couple - I have a huge weakness for the bad boy/good girl type.

I think it is! When I first got into it I think I sat down and read the entirety of codexfawkes in one weekend? Then again I might not be the best to judge reasonableness. ;-)

(Especially considering every so often I'll sit back down and read the all my favorite stories again--I kind of have a weekend for them. They are definitely my current OTP!)

Ooh. I think my all time favorite one is Love in the Time of Foam and Duct Tape...it's one of those that you keep coming back to again and again. And a finite simple group of order 2. Both are by fortuna_juvat, I love most of her stuff.

I like Kindle Fire with Snow and, on the lighter side, enjoy the ficlet So Let the Games Begin.

It's a pretty small corner of fandom but I think it's a good corner of fandom. I don't think I've found a fic that doesn't have something nice about it.

Oh yes, I think I've read the Foam and Duct Tape one recently. It's awesome!

And thanks for the other recs. You're an angel. I'm hoping that when season 5 starts, people will be uber inspired to write Codex/Fawkes again. Well, Wil Wheaton is just inspiring in general......

I just hope that the Axis of Anarchy doesn't vanish in season 5! I think we could still get some nice scenes/inspiration when it is released (even if it seems they are more building up to Codex/Zaboo, sigh). And I concur! Will Wheaton is definitely inspiring!

Before season 5 comes out I'm planning a re-watch of the entire series to (a) get in the mood and (b) write more fic--I always get inspired after watching it.

Hmm, might be kind of fun if we did something leading up to the season 5 release on codexfawkes....then again maybe I should wait and see what is actually going on around the release date.

Yeah they definitely seem to be building up to that. I have to admit, that kinda freaks me out. I don't know why. It's not just because i prefer Fawkes/Codex. I think it's just something about Zaboo's insane devotion to her, kinda makes me wanna throw something at him and tell him to get out of her personal space LOL.

Oh a rewatch is a grand idea! I've gotten get my hands on the DVDs at some point, though their YouTube channel is there, thankfully :) And hey if it inspires to write more, I'm all for that :)

Doing something at the comm for season 5 would be a great idea, but then waiting to see what'll be happening about the date is probably a good plan too! I really hope the Axis of Anarchy don't disappear, they're such great foils for the Knights of Good.

I agree! I mean, I even like Zaboo (some of the times) but Zaboo and Codex together don't (in my mind) compliment each other as well as Fawkes and Codex.Zaboo has been "levelling" and growing as a character (best part of the crazy Vork/Mrs. Zaboo storyline? the kind of father/son or at least mentor/mentee relationship Vork and Zaboo had--both of them grew through it.) There is definitely something about him that is a bit...off putting.

Once we know the date I'll bring something up on the community. I bet there will be other takers!
