So, some random TV ramblings cause it's Friday and I really don't wanna think about school for at least 24 hours XD.
First of all, I get the incredibly stupid award for not checking how much time was left on the tape I was using to record Avatar whenever I have to go pick up my dad and I haven't seen it, and, as my luck goes, "Appa's Lost Days" got cut off around when... the Guru was tying the note to his horn and saying something about his connection with Aang, I think. I dunno, I was only checking to see if I managed to get the entire episode and if it cut off during Spongebob or something ^^; I hope not too much happened after that -_-. Still have to watch the ones I taped last week, too. And Season 1. Ack, I'm being a bad Avatard!!
I'm being a bad Narutard, too, actually. I keep putting of reading the chapters. Haven't read it in like a month o_O;. I mean, I'm putting off writing stories (there is no way I'm going to get
fic_off done unless I spend all weekend writing it XD) and doing other stuff I should have done a month ago, but I still should be a better fangirl. Heck, Shikamaru has apparently been doing a ton of stuff and I'm not reading about it! ...I blame the crappy dial up. I'm also really excited about Shippuden starting, even though I won't be able to see it thanks to said dial up. I'll find screen caps or something XD.
Back to TV (yay my mind and it's tangents XD), my parents told me I needed to watch the rerun of The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, and when they're telling me to watch it I know it's a good sign XD. Lo and behold, as Jon Stewart tried to think of people Dick Cheney would look up to and listen to, a red light was cast on him. For a second I thought he might be doing a Satan thing cause my parents were telling me about how he once called Cheney the Prince of Darkness (and he so is! Did I ever tell you about him and my Grandad? ...Ask if you're curious XD). But then Sauron comes up on the screen behind him and, um, yeah. I was dead on the floor from laughing. And then he pulls out a Darth Vader mask and puts it on! Oh, it was great. If only Cheney would get off his high horse and see it ^_~ Then Colbert took shots at the college where previously said Grandad taught choir for 30+ years and my brother went to, which was also amusing. It had to do with some of the professors not wanting Bush's presidential library there, which is understandable, but it was still funny to hear since that school is like a big part of my family history XD.
Finally, although I think I'm the only Monk fan I know, what has been going on in the new season? Just last week I was commenting on how rare it is for the Special Guest Star to be the bad guy and we've had it two weeks in a row now! And Natalie's actress is pregnant, hee hee. We might not have noticed had they not worked her "faking it" into the show. But still. First Andy Richter and now Sean Astin. And, of course, on the Lord of the Rings note, my dad and I kept making Sam related jokes and I threw in a few Meerkat Manor ones for good measure. We're weird like that.
...Okay that's my life right now. All about TV, as usual XD.
