I'm never going to get over this...
I know I ranted about this in January, but geez I'm still ticked off about it!!! -_-;
So, yeah. I just saw "Things Change" again on TV. Thankfully my parents aren't home yet so they got to miss my random squealings and cursings. ERG, why did they have to end the series like that?! They basically just kicked the Terra fans in the face! And they didn't answer like any questions, like what they were fighting or even how Terra came back. They just left it all open for me to get cranky. What's sad is that I was working on a fic that pretty much had the exact same plot as that episode, but I was writing it cause I didn't think it would really happen (I didn't get past posting chapter one, sadly, but I was!). And then they had to go and make that movie that I haven't seen and give Robin and Starfire another smooch and leave the BB/T fans sitting there looking at that almost kiss that Slade f***ing ruined!!!
What really bugs me about the episode is that everyone that summarizes it says Beast Boy accepts it and leaves. Did you see acceptance in that face? Uh, no. I saw severe disappointment and "Well, I'd better help my friends fight whatever the heck they're up against." I don't think he gave up. Heck, he could still hang out with her without trying to force her to remember! And if that really is Terra, which I'm pretty sure she is, something's bound to happen to her that involves her powers or whatnot. She's going through Kohaku syndrome right now; she doesn't want to remember the bad things she's done. But, like Kohaku, fate is bound to kick her in the face, too, and she's gonna remember sooner or later. But we'll never get to find out if that really happens, now will we?! >:(
Again I say, why did they have to end the series like that?! Now I'm all depressed and annoyed... And I partially wish I could find my Season 2 set even though that really won't make feel better unless I stopped watching right before Slade talks in "Betrayal". It is not a good thing when out of the... eight episodes she was in (counting the ones where she had no lines/was in a flashback), three of them make me sob uncontrollably.
-_- I need cheering up. And maybe more Teen Titans that can finalize the stuff with Terra happily. And by happily, I mean BB/T ^^;. She came back in the comics! I know I read that! And she rejoined the team!
