I didn't believe this when I saw it. Rest in Peace, Steve. I know he seemed like a nut most of the time, but he really was spectacular in his field. I, for one, would never lie down by a den of Kimono Dragons. Not to mention jump into a pen with a crocodile while holding food. What he did was dangerous, but he knew how to handle everything because he was such an expert so there was no worry. Hearing that he's dead, especially like that, is just shocking.
You got me through some blocks of time when nothing was on Cartoon Network, Steve, and I enjoyed it. Thank you for showing the world so many dangerous animals while putting your life on the line. You knew what you were doing, and were probably one of the greatest animal experts the world has ever seen. My heart goes out to Terri and the kids.
May you take down all of the problem Crocs in Heaven.
