Yay for Insomnia!
Just got back from vacation at chris's house in VA. Good times were had by all. We went to see Fantastic Four (highly amusing if you aren't expecting great things), Shear Madness at the Kennedy Center (SO FUNNY!!! The audience is the best. Old Lady: She was carrying her bags in one hand, before. Performer: Yeah, I think she was breathing through her nose, too.), played tourist in DC (Hope diamond = pretty. 'Nuff said.), and dinner at the Outback (grrr to Chris's mother not understanding the girl was new).
Chris loved his presents, I think. I may have done well this year. I got him a Kenshin Tshirt and a bottle of lotion. My parents got him several bottles of desert liquor.
We had a good time. :)
Oh! I don't check my casemail almost at all because of the insane amount of spam. I decided to clean it out now, and discovered I've been asked to write a letter of evaluation to be used for Dr. Burda's consider for tenure. Of COURSE I want him to get tenure, I <3 Dr. Burda like nothing else. I hope I write a good enough letter. I have emailed Robert asking for advice.
Drank the warm milk, still not thinking sleep is going to happen. *sigh* Thoughts go round and round, uncaring that I have a double tomorrow.
