People who are blind

It's funny how people are so blind to their own faults. We were at WHOA house tonight, eating brownies with all the ex-Goodhue people, after watching the One Acts (three plays that were fairly well done). Russell played a crazy, violent, murderous professor in one of the plays. Then after the play, he was complaining about how everyone considers him creepy. At first I thought his complaint was justified, but then he repeated the creepy lines from the play about a dozen times-- perpetuating the idea that he is creepy both in and out of the play. People shouldn't complain if they're going to reinforce what they're complaining about. So there. :p

Also, Becky has been irking/annoying me lately. Ever since the start of term, and every time I've seen her, she has complained about her tendinitis. I asked her if she's seen a doctor again (since it's been four weeks since she got hurt), and she said that her tendinitis didn't really hurt that much anymore. But she complained about her ankle AGAIN at the brownie thing. Wow. I've actually gotten past the point of annoyance now, to that when she brings up her pain, I just want to laugh. Lily hugged me (covering up my face) so Becky wouldn't see my smile. Yes, I am a bad person. Oh, another thing. As some of the guys were leaving the brownie get-together, Becky yelled, "You're not all leaving without cleaning the dishes!". And then she didn't even attempt to help them clean up. It seemed like she had a lot of nerve, to not help, but also to call people back and then call them "careless". And Mike made a good point... Becky complains how no one goes to see her, but why would they want to if she's going to be such a nag?

Aaah. She is good hearted, most of the time, but our personalities just clash to an extreme.
