Lovely. Really like how you made it a cast-centric fic, instead of focusing on just Castle.

Nice piece. Like theaquamarine said, I like the fact that it is a cast-centric fic.

Aww this is so so good!! This is exactly what I'd expect to see after a shooting!

And like everyone else: Liked the cast-centric-ness of it. Loved that you wrote it from Alexis's point of view too!

I like the fact that the one theme running through both the POVs is the utter shock over the whole situation! Very realistic.

I'm glad to see this, because I have a feeling we'll skip to 'three months later' or something when the show returns.

I think Ryan and Esposito will be indulging in some more comfort after this fic, be it drinks on the way home, or more...

My only minor quibble is the 'recovery position'; this isn't something like a heart attack or drowning, but a traumatic injury; there's no telling if there might be a spinal injury and so I'd have thought that keeping the airway clear, pressure on the accessible wound, and keeping patient movement to a minimum would be top priorities. On the other hand, the exit wound would benefit from pressure being applied too. Plus I'm no med student, so I'm just guessing :P

Oh, and I really like the idea of the automated rifle and Javi's thought that it's easier when criminals aren't that smart :D
