Music, Sport and Work
Purely for my own benefit... HAPPY BIRTHDAY JAMES!!!! No idea where in the world he is at the moment but no doubt he is having lots of fun. Sent him a fat email last night... that's his present til I see him again :)
In other news...
- Footy show was good. Was disappointed in the way the seating was handled. That's between the piazza staff and the footy show staff. Still had a good seat and a good night but still wasn't pleased when the people who only paid $10 got better seats than the people who all paid full price! Anyway.
- Powderfinger was average sadly. Didn't help that we really couldn't see very well. Was such a different atmosphere from when we were there at the Dropkicks concert. Was a significantly older crowd and felt outta place. Had a good night though, spent most of it at the bar :)
- Had such inappropriate conversations with Karlie will at the concert (complete with actions!). Funny for us but probably quite disturbing for anyone listening in :) Stemmed from some convos I had at the boys house as I went there friday night.
- Work is kicking my arse lately which is not good. I'm behind in my work today (didn't fold any letters!!) and find out that tomorrow I have a 3 hour training session... really don't have time for that!! Anyway what will be will be.
- Also back/neck is killing me from work lately and think it is cuase i'm hunched over the desk folding letters... went and had a massage on saturday and that helped for a bit.
- Off to watch state of origin 2 somewhere tonight... no idea where yet. Fingers crossed we win!!
