Can I have one drinking night where I don't injury myself? The answer is most definately NO!
Bought some tickets today to see the Spicks and Speck-tacular when it's here in December! How exciting. Should be a good night as the show is so bloody funny to watch, hope it's even better live.
Jimmy and I had a massive impromptu drinking night last Thursday night. Student night is evil I tell ya! Bartender asked if I was a student and me being the honest goose that I am said no, then he looked at me like I was an idiot and said just say yes. One quick jug turned into 8!!
Had a really good night but man did I pay for it. James and I went and had le snacks on the bench in Queens Park and then rolled around in the grass for a bit, as is our tradition from back in the day. Hilarious and so much fun until somehow my thumb got injured. Just remember James rolling on me then me laughing my arse off and trying to tell him my thumb hurt.
Got kinda messy when I got home and really don't want to relive all the gory details but let's just say laying down to go to sleep was the catalyst for me which resulted in me having to clean up and air the house for the next 3 days!! Parents were not pleased to say the least :)
My thumb is still hurting like a bitch and even more so today. One of the chicks in the office here used to be a nurse and she checked it out for me. Said it's massively bruised and swollen so it's pushing on my nerves and that's why it's hurting so much. If it's still hurting when the swelling goes down (in bout a week) I should get it x-rayed. Really hoping it won't come to that! But kinda feel like I got my karma and that I deserve the pain of this sore thumb, compared to what I put everyone through.
Boss was away today so it was kinda cruisy... and now it's time to leave, even better!!
