"It's proper extreme"
Shipwrecked: Battle of the Island 2006 has ended and I am devastated!
It has to be one of my favourite english shows, I would say it is my ultimate fav but Waterloo Road is at the top also. Shipwrecked was awesome. I loved the drama, the scandal, the tension, the fights, the people... I just loved it all.
I loved that the Sharks won!! They rocked and were such a better team then the tigers. Fuck building the perfect shelter, let's have some fun!
I'm totally in love with John in all his DT glory. He's such a cutie! He made the ultimate sacrifice for the team when he moved to tiger island and I loved that he made no attempt to hide that he was a shark. But oh how i wished i could give him a hug when he was wandering around on the beach all alone with his shark fin on looking so, so sad and staring at shark island in the distance. He is my favourite. I'm disappointed that I didn't get to see him on the "aftermath" show but he did phone in from Australia which will just have to do. I'm glad the sharks shared the prize money with him, but really as if they wouldn't. It was funny when they announced that the sharks had won and it cut to a shot of the tigers all looking devastated and then there was John jumping up and runnning over to the sharks. I think he may have stood on some people in his haste to get over there. Oh well they are only tigers :)
James M is awesome and such a good laugh. I'm so glad that he decided to be a shark and stay a shark he suited them very well. How funny that he tried to be straight and was picked as the gay guy straight away! I was so happy at the end when it said that he had finally come out to his dad who continues to love and support his son. That was such an awww moment. He totally made me miss my James 10 times more though everytime I saw him.
I'm happy for James George in that found his place with the sharks after a shit couple of weeks, which were his own fault but still. He looked so happy and healthy towards the end. I'm happy that Jo found peace on the island and was accepted even though they didn't konw who she was. She was able to help them understand the enigma that is Geoff. So glad that she didn't switch at the last minute and she actually had some morals. Lou rocked and I loved all her sayings. All the sharks rocked in their own ways. The tigers were full of dickheads.
I liked Katie in the beginning but she pissed me by the time the show was over. For one thing, she rejected Crawford and as if you would, he was hot! he did get a bit too preachey towards the end though. That rapper dude whose name i never bothered to learn was fucking annoying. Ritchie was an arrogant dick but i'm glad that he's found happiness with Charlie and that it wasn't just an island love.
I could go on about this show forever. I'm so sad that its gone. What am i going to do on my sunday afternoons now?
