In the morning I got up early to watch the World Cup Finals. Not the best game, but Spain did what was needed of them to win. I'm just happy my team won the cup. That being said, this tournament has shown that FIFA needs to adopt some serious changes. I relax in the hotel room and Beto leaves for EVO. I head out later to watch the SFII HDR finals. I get there in time for the women's invitational finals. Kayane is solid, but everyone else not so much. Good to see a European player taking something home though (Kayane is French). After the finals, they put on a really cool exhibition video, Super Fireball Battle (

Lots of fun to watch, but then I head back to the hotel. From there I hang out with Chris Sosa and his girlfriend before the finals start. She's really nice and it was great meeting her. I say goodbye to the two and then I watch the SSFIV finals while chatting with a friend online. Daigo takes it home (of course) but Ricky Ortiz did well. I thought it could have been his year.
My cousin comes back to the hotel and we relax until the shuttle gets there. We check out at 3 AM and wait for the shuttle. We then proceed to our gate. The plane ride was long and uncomfortable. I'll definitely remember Las Vegas, but I missed Miami so much.
