Las Vegas/EVO2k10 Day 2
Beto leaves early in the morning, at around 7:30. His pool starts at 9:00 AM. Mine begins at 5:00 PM. I chill in the room until 9:00 and then I leave to take the monorail. Actually getting the monorail pass is kind of a hassle, but I get it over with and take it to Ceasar's Palace. I go to EVO and meet up with Beto, his pool is going on. I look around. I get my free shirt and I play some casuals on 360 until around 3, when I go to grab a bite. I get an iced mocha and an apple crepe. Cheapest thing in Ceasar's. $16. Not kidding. I head back up and meet up with Beto and his friend Bob. Bob's arcade stick is a suitcase. No lie. We shoot the shit while we wait for my pool to start. I head over at 4:30 and wait for the pool to start. I got knocked out in Loser's to an aggressive Abel player. Them's the breaks. All in all I had a lot of fun. I head out, saying goodbye to the new acquaintances I've made and meet up with Beto and Bob at Harrah's. They head to Ceasar's for some casuals and I grab a bite at a cheap yet amazing burger place, same place I ate at before. Take the monorail back to the hotel. End of day 2.
