Ever have the feeling you're drowing, but there's no water in sight? Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel. Le sigh, I suppose I can look at the brighter side of my life, but then again, that wouldn't make a very interesting post, would it?
Where's my guy? That's what I'd like to know. I try to convince myself that I have all the qualities a man would want but sometimes it's hard to tell what guys want these days. And at the end of trying to make myself this perfect girl, I end up becoming completely fake and everyone knows it.
A good friend of mine was talking tonight and I've come to realize I'm not the only one whose searching for love. Love, for what else is the human existance good for? What else are we fighting for? It's the thing people die for, for christ sake.
For now, I'm just going to have to suck it up, and carry on. I've done it for 15 years, hopefully I can still do it for a couple more.
