Gone, Leaving Nothing but Memories

Gone, Leaving Nothing but Memories

As the crystallized drops of water fall gently down her cheeks you ask, "Why do you cry butterfly?"

Your answer is a numb silence.

Just the muffled, yet audible suffering of pain-filled tears cascading like a waterfall down her face.

She tries to stay strong, tries to push away the tears, the agony, the feelings...

But she ends up breaking that mask with uncontrollable sobs of hysteria.

There's nothing you can do but watch her in her martyrdom.

It kills you to see her broken like this.

You can't even give her sympathy or pity.

All you can do is watch the helpless life before you.

After all, you're only but a memory now, with nothing but a freshly carved tombstone to remember you by...

A/N: I wrote this for my friend whose grandfather passed away recently...I thought it fit the 'occasion'.
Btw, does anyone know where I can watch any Russian/German movies with English subtitles? I'm pretty interested in Russian and German stuff like that. =]
