Al right so this is the kind of stuff I find extremely intriguing and and when you mentioned clozapine I was like hAH I KNOW THAT YESSSSSS. But anyway, it was a bitter-sweet read and this kind of thing does happen--when Junmyeon mentioned he may have not have been taking his medication I supposed the overdose was due to him hiding and accumulating his meds until the climax of it all. If so then WHAT KIND OF MONITORING WAS THAT lmao this is why people need to be there to watch a person ingest medication (though, that too can be deceitful through practices such as patients keeping medications under their tongues when they pretend to swallow it down). I digress. The fic itself was very touching albeit the heartbreak and I loved loved loved Jongin's interactions with Kyungsoo. Especially the one (the last one?) where his head was inclined to the window and he spoke of his promises with Kyungsoo. You really brought out how the relationship between KaiSoo was whilst Kyungsoo was alive despite Kyungsoo not even being actively present, all

okay omg wow i really, really, really love this fic like a lot

i love how it's not from Jongin's POV and it gives so much mystery to what's really going on with him! I'm actually very happy that it's not from his POV, i think it really emphasizes the concept of Jongin thinking that kyungsoo is still alive even more! and even though it doesn't give a ton of information on how Jongin is feeling, it's the perfect amount to really get that he's crazy and still in love with soo!

also omg definite thanks to doing some research about it! mental illness is such a touchy/interesting topic and i'm so so so thankful that you took the time to read up about it and make it realistic. i really appreciate that and it definitely makes the story more believable.

i dont think i can say thank you enough times because this was really perfect. dark/touchy AU's and stories are my absolute favorite and you really did justice to it.

Originally, this was supposed to be Jongin's POV but I had a hard time with that so I went with his psychiatrist's POV instead. I'm really glad you think it worked haha I had a hard time trying to make it work tbh XD but yey in the end I accomplished it. I'm really glad you love this sort of AUs and you consider this great enouh to be ome of your faves. I have to apologize tho that I will not be writing a sequel or a remix of this in Jongin's pov. Haha that's a little bit hard for me tbh and I might end up losing my mind haha

To answer your question: It's not that Joonmyun kept his relationship with Jongdae a secret. It was just that Jongdae had not been introduced as his lover. It's in the way I write as well hahaha so it's a but hard to explain in great detail. It was also to avoid suchen overpowering kaisoo :)
