Intro: Themes, Rules and Schedule
Hello lovelies! Welcome to Best Days of Our Lives, a Kaisoo fic fest coming up on White Day 2017!
Because one can never get enough of Kaisoo /you know I'm right/ join us in celebrating them at different milestones in their lives. What makes this fest different from others is that it focuses on their age and the type of love they encounter at that particular time period.
Confused? We hope not... (^_^)
Read on to find out more about the themes of this fest~
Best Days of Our Lives portrays Kaisoo's relationship through three sub-themes: in their 10s, in their 20s and in their 30s.
Kaisoo in their 10s - Pure Love
What comes to mind when you think about love in one's teenage years?
Hesitance because of inexperience? General shyness? Innocent dates, hand-holding and kisses? First confessions?
Now imagine Kaisoo as teenagers in love...
You may think up any AUs that simply showcase scenarios of Pure Love in their 10s and it will fall into this first sub-theme.
e.g. First Love!Au | High School!Au | even Fantasy!Au or Apocalypse!Au can also fall under this (so long as Kaisoo are in their 10s and there are some elements of Pure Love in the story)
The possibilities are many, don't hold back your imagination.
Our only advice: please be mindful that their ages in the story should follow the one designated in each sub-theme.
Kaisoo in their 20s - Reckless Love
When one is young, wild and free, often times the love we experience can have many ups and downs. We are more prone to taking risks when we are in our 20s. We love passionately. We can love dangerously. So long as you can come up with scenes in the fic that justifies Reckless Love when Kaisoo are in their 20s, it can fall under this sub-theme.
This is where we are expecting fics to take on a darker tone.

Off the top of my head, I can imagine Forbidden Love!Au | Mafia!Au | Prostitution!Au | even Kaisoo dropping everything back home to backpack across the world like a YOLO kind of thing can come under here
I repeat: The possibilities are many, don't hold back your imagination.
Kaisoo in their 30s - Everlasting Love
Think long, steady relationship - (almost) married couple kind of feel.
When we are in our 30s, we often look ahead with the thought of settling down and forming a family.
We are more mature. We look for stability. We reminisce about the past.
Some AU ideas: Established Relationship!Au | Family!Au | Workplace!Au | even AU where Kaisoo are divorced but they still love each other and the fic shows how they get back together?

Qn: What about fics where they have an age gap that crosses over two sub-themes?
Ans: Our advice would be to think about your plot and Kaisoo's relationship in it. Does it have more elements of Pure Love? Is their love there more wild and carefree? What is the message you are trying to convey through the fic? You should be able to derive your answer? If not, chat us up!
Qn: How do I submit my prompts if I'm confused which category it should be in?
Ans: We will include a field in the prompting form that allows you to write down your comments. Just jot them down there and we can always have a friendly discussion on Twitter! If not, the mods can help you decide accordingly.

2. Minimum word count should be 2,000 words for each fic

4. Please be mindful that Kaisoo's age in the fic you write should correspond with the sub-theme (10s, 20s, 30s) given
