Two lost souls, living their life routinely day in day out, finding each other.
It's so beautiful.
I can relate to Kyungsoo so much. I could tell his monotonous life made him so flat and boring. He was living a life void of purpose. I often feel this way. I go to school so I can get a job, when I get a job, I will live my life working everyday until I die.
I love the change in his routine led to meeting Jongin, someone unexpected brought color back to his life. When Kyungsoo considered Jongin part of his routine, my heart skipped a beat. It was such a big step for him because he doesn't let anyone in. (I love the detail with Baekhyun, an acquaintance but not a friend.)
My top 2 scenes is when he saw Jongin for the first time. Your description of Jongin dancing in the rain at night was so beautiful. The 2nd is the reunion scene. I love their conversation. Kyungsoo was accepting. He knew Jongin came back for him.
“Just get to the end already.”
“Would you like to come along and explore the universe with me?” Jongin says, looking Kyungsoo in the eyes.
“With the saddest excuse for a human being? Anytime.”
