You Remind Me

Dedicating this entry to one of my favorite "idols", who sadly received the least votes for tonight and left, as many of you probably know. He once again chose one of my favorite songs. How tragic. Paula was in hysterics.

Today was a good day. My classes were pretty good, despite the surprisingly low 77 I got on my math test...I did error analysis, though, so I don't think it'll effect my overall grade too much. *NORD*. After school, Em and I went to Schneider center for dinner, just like the good ole' days;)

I'm extremely excited about summer...and about a lot of other things, too!!!!!!! During first open block I went to the library and made a magical to-do list of twenty-seven things I've been wanting to do for a while that haven't gotten around to doing for one reason or another. I made the list to remind myself of the things that interest me. I don't want to waste all of my time doing pointless stuff, but I also don't want to feel like I have to do everything on the list or else I am officially lazy and stupid. I just want to stay in a nice, happy state and enjoy life. By making lovely little mini-goals, I gradually become happier and find new ways of enjoying life. Therefore, I am happy with my list. I won't type out the whole thing now, but it includes things such as "Write down ideas for stories/films" and "Read Jane Eyre" and "Save up for a Camera" and "Take pictures" and "Write to my grandmother". Very simple and nice.

In conclusion, I have found many activities for myself which I'm excited about and enjoy doing, but I could always add on to my list, so please respond with any ideas for crazy stuff for me/us/the world to do! Love, Izzy;)

P.S. I know I have mentioned earlier that I don't like that everybody is so geared towards "doing" stuff, but this is different! I want to do things that make me happy (in theory, anyway), whereas we can often get caught up in "ACH! I'm so LAZY and must DO something! I have to stop enjoying my life b/c that makes me a SINNER!" etc., etc.
