I land on CNN- Headline: THAKSIN* DISSOLVES THAI PARLIAMENT, DECLARES SNAP VOTE FOR APRIL 2

............bzwuuuh whaaaat?! *=thaksin - thailand's prime ministerAnd apparently there's gonna be one of the largest demonstrations ever this weekend in Bangkok. 8O

he other stupid thing is, like it or not, he also seems to be the only senior politician of note to actually be noticable and well known by the general public.

I was intending to ask you on this, actually - how are things over there now? Thaksin's style is very very similar to a certain former PM over here in S'pore whom I will not name but the truth is he did get things done. If Thaksin had been in power 40 years ago, they would have gotten along marvellously.

Any other comments? (am such a whore for Thai politics, I am...)

PS and the only reason why I knew who the dem. leader is was because he's "famous" for being one of the good looking and somewhat young politicians heh. XD Him and the BKK governor both. They even had somewhat similiar names, I kept mixing them up >_<;
