...Advent Children. The holy shit-ness of it all, it buuuurns! (in a good way ♥)
The graphics are mindblowingly AWESOME. Seriously. At random points I caught myself gaping from the sheer prettiness, which is even more heightened when you watch the "Reminiscing FFVII" on the extras and see how ...shitty the '97 graphics look in comparision.
Cloud(and about 99.5% of all the other cast) was hot and I do admit to have been reeled in hook, line and sinker regarding the oh so subtle advertising for the motorola? phone in the movie. Precioussss, we wantsss ittt! Tifa's hair was distractingly pretty although her proportions seemed really glaringly off to me- the BOOBS and the stick legs and arms, najaa. Reno and Rude RULED in the movie(Turks represent! Also: Rufuuuus!!), the snark! the teamwork! Reno's actually quite pretty! Rude's suprisingly expressive face! HIS EXPRESSION OF OH NOES!!1 DISMAY WHEN RENO ACCIDENTALLY STEPS ON HIS SUNGLASSES!! XDDD ao aedjglkjgt ♥ ♥! (and of course he has a spare pair! Heee)
But oh one of the best parts was the Cloud vs. Sephiroth fight- I seem to have this pavlovian reaction that whenever I hear the start of "One-Winged Angel" I sit up straighter and basically become a squeeing puddle of OMFG. That. song. is so. fucking. fantastic. And how I gasped when Sephiroth was revealed, shit that was done so well! The bit in the end where he reverts back to Kadaj...the wing! *ded of ♥ and massive style points*
I had no real clue what the plot was about though, blah blah kiddies w/ sickness, three silver-haired dudes looking for their mom(sephiroth clones?), Cloud's hallucnating etc etc. Also the entire thing was in japanese. Must get my own copy of the english version when it comes out!
