A Day at Muhlenberg College

Jun 09, 2010 19:10

Today, I went to Muhlenberg for the 'June Advising Day' where all of the incoming freshmen took their ID photos, signed their housing contracts, picked their courses, etcetcetc. I have lots to do for my very first semester already. :( Calc 1 (lul), Principles of Biology I, Environmental Science I (my decided major :D [for now?!]), and Traditional China (to learn about das materland woooooooo ;D). The alternatives I selected, just in case I can't get into Traditional China or something, were Intro to Stage Makeup (sounds neat!) and Philosophy: East & West (I like comparative studies). Soooo, ya. But I'm not daunted!-- yet...

I guess my placement tests were good? I mean, I'm not in some remedial math class, so that's good... I did ace on my spanish placement test, and I'll start Intermediate Spanish II... whenever. :D The freshman seminar I'm hoping to get into is Middle Earth Studies; it appeals to the geek in me, and I'm excited!

On a sour note, it rained all day and now I'm freezing. :( I think it's time to snuggle up in bed and watch The Office~
