Winter Break 2005-2006:
Its officially here. It was supposed to be snowy, icy, and generally terrible on the roads, but it ended up not doing shit. Thats cool, but I worried for nothing. I drove at night to get here yesterday so I could be in town for Dad's surgery. He had his thyroid removed (which is not an organ, its a gland. I fucked that up earlier). It was being enlarged because of an autoimmune diesease called Grave's Disease, which has been causing bad symptoms for a while now. It jacked up his metabolism really high, so hes had to eat all the time, even though he has lost weight. It also has made him have trouble sleeping and he had passed out a couple of times at work because of it too. His surgery went well and hes staying at the hospital right now. Tomorrow is my parents anniversary, their first in the hospital.
I havn't been up to too much today, just tv and videogames. I got a Megaman game from Alex for Christmas so I've been playing that. Its a compilation of a bunch of old mega man games, which are actually pretty damn hard! I'm up to the final boss in mega man 7 and god damn he sucks. Im not sure if I can even avoid his attacks.....oh well. It'll definitely pass the time. Its good to be back in a position where I can actualy play video games again! That won't last too long.
