Gifts for the holidays (Saturnalia type stuff)

I am working on my brother's beanie cap right now but I need to browse Ravelry to find something for Earl (the boyfriend). I thought scarf but since I noticed he doesn't wear a hat or beanie on his head, I figure another hat! My crochet is getting a good work out but I do have another scarf in the works using the Noro kureyon left over yarn I have. I need to get some more of that by the by as it makes great hat projects. Granted I want to try their silk yarn too for making softer scarves or cowls.

Hm, what to make as small gifts though? Well there is this pattern for something like cork people who have different colors and such, That can be made with the icky acrylic stuff for cheap. I'll check that pattern out too. If I knew how to make one I'd make a blanket for each of the horses he won at Gameworks on our first date. Hehehe, I doubt it would be complicated just need small hook and colorful yarn.
