Bring it up to speed
This is what happened yesterday evening/afternoon which ever.
Guy friend and I were talking as usual about this and that when he says he wants to ask a question, no problem right? Well he asked me if he could have permission to change the relationship status on his FB page. Now I know people poo poo that whole FB business myself included because really its about what you and your partner. But I guess I didn't understand until I was that person being asked if they could be added as "in a relationship". I was so giddy yesterday then waffled between apprehension and second thought-itits. Now I've settled into comfortable happy and wish I could just hug him to pieces.
When I mentioned this to someone at work along with how he pays (which I am not use to at all), opens the door and has rare manners lost in this mix of modern world, she says "Awwww, he's courting you!" I totally did a "what What WHAT??". Is it considered courting? Either way, I just like being around him. He is a good person and honest.
Oh man...first dates tell you nothing when there are sparks no matter how mild they are. We still have a ways to go of course but so far I like what is going on between us and its really REALLY fucking hard not to jump his bones. >:)
