The date
So I went out last night with this dude I've been talking with for just over a week. We met at the mall as I'm trying to fight off a cold that wants to happen so no horse event for a first meeting. I'm kind of glad I waited too.
The good:
-Serious about having a long term relationship
-funny
-Laid back, easy going
-Virgo
-can talk about any subject
-LIKES to talk
-seems to mean what he says
-really wants to go places with someone instead of on his own
The not good
-the teeth. not black or anything but dental work would be nice.
-very average looks
-there is very little "spark" but too early to call you know
-Might be on the dull side but again way too early to say
I mean this is just the first date okay so these are my first impressions which mean something but not really jack shit for someone who rarely goes beyond a month with dating the same person. He wants to take things slow which is definitely what I need as I'm usually going 0-60 in any dating situation. Rarely have actually put on the brakes. At first it bothered me that I wasn't like instantly attracted to him but you know how is that a plus? Sure it would be nice but I want to be attracted to the mind which I do like that about him. He made me laugh several times, didn't crowd and was soft spoken.
I think I will just let things go naturally instead of over-analyzing every detail, conversation and look. I'm way too good at doing that then putting thoughts in my head that lead to break downs later on.
