WELL turns out it wasn't the superplus software or even the old HD even though that is now not working from being dropped or something like that. >:( Turns out the brand new not even three months old 2TB Samsung drive has spin up times issues and needs to be completely replaced. WTF??!!
ANYWAY, that is not all, one of the chickens has worms...isn't that nice? I saw them in some poop and thought "I hope that isn't moving? looks like little rice..." Yep worms, round worms to be exact. Blargh. So I put some apple cider in the waters, took out all the alfalfa that had poo on it, dumped a lot of DE around and inside the coop to the point were it was flying through the air. I think it is Betty and although it seems they can live with worms I can not.
I might run up to Clarks and get some pumpkin seed oil or a natural dewormer. I'm trying to steer clear of that which isn't natural around here as the amount of flying insect spray killer shit is on the trees but might also be keeping bees from coming around.
So the chickens, the computer, the lack of money...wow its been a shit couple of days man. I need a brain break from this machine and from the yard. I'll go do some errands but definitely will pick up some stuff for the chickens.
