SNOW!

It started about 4am according to Mom and only stopped about an hour ago. Naturally our winter wonderland was a new thing for the chickens who refused to walk on this strange white stuff. They are probably back in the coop that they have spent the past two days in. It is actually warm in there but that is do to the massive about of wet shavings under the dry ones. That is going straight into the compost once things settle down. Good stuff to get the compost pile going!

Now the sun is peeking out and that bright snow is BRIGHT! :D

I have my work cut out for me when all this is over.
