Today is the forth of July

All round my little space in a troubled county, I can see people getting ready for the fireworks-both legal and non-legal. On a hillside just off an unusually quiet main road I could see a woman in a colorful moo-moo pulling chairs around a portable gazebo. Her view aims right into the edge of Redlands. Unlike downtown Riverside blanketed by smog from a million diesel trucks rolling through, Redlands pushes higher up with little smog most of which gets blow away as the city itself sits between two mountain ranges. On bad still days, the smog sits like an unwanted relative drinking all the beer but who did not bring anything with them but negative vibes and lies.

Yuicipa sits higher up still mostly too high for fat, heavy smog so its skies today are shades of Turquoise in our local space to near Sapphire in the highest mountain peaks. Heat is heavy but thankfully dry even if a small hot breeze will blow up by evening it will be gone.

Sometimes looking outside even in this hot weather it makes you want to drive to the middle of the ultimate heat finding a patch of smooth sand and make Sand angels.

weekend, deep thoughts, thoughts, life, holiday
