what it means when you have two New Moons in the same month?
Other than that I've just been too tired to up date my blog here but heres' the short stuff.
Tuesday Kelly gave the farrier such a hard time that I had to work her so she would be more managable.
Wednsday was work out day so after only running on five hours of sleep I did get to teh gym and worked the gest on just machines. Ouch.
Thursday I realized how much I did not want to return to CRC and how there was little I could do. So on Friday I sent a note to the department head of Region 4 as a last attempt. Nope. Gotta go back. We did however recieve a memo by email about the budget crunch and the hiring process. I read it but what caught my eye was the lines that limited term is excluded from this process for the essential staff only. So....I sent a note to our Personnel person to ask if that memo says what I think it does. I hope so because I want all over that like white on rice ok.
Oh and I got on Kelly (yeah yeah I know) in my new saddle. I am happy to report that after two mnths I actually fit in it better even though I have been not riding or doing cardio to get rid of my tummy issue. If I got it down more I could see myself riding without my stomach hitting the saddle horn like it does now. Yesterday I stopped to go put some shavings in her stall so her feet stay try and moisture free for the most part only to see a ton of people going out on a ride. Fuck. I haven't been riding since the horseweek parade which was freaking April. When I got the saddle I was thining about riding until I found out what was wrong with my ankle. I so wanted to go with them but I wasn't properly dressed plus both the owners know I'm not suppose to be riding. >:(
I bet they had a blast. *jealous*
Kelly didn't seem to interested so we instead played "kick the plastic" because she is scared of plastic for some reason.
Robin, who has a paint horse boarded there said Randy was welding up some stallion stalling IN her stall and she was all in his back pocket. A piece of plastic rattling has her running and kicking at it. WTF, Kelly? No. Seriously, WTF? So I have a horse who isn't scared of sparks but plastic she is certain will kill her dead. So I tied a piece to a far spot in her stall and left it there. Let it rattle her chain enough to make her ignore it.
