Bit o' gardening...
I've gotta pick up Mom's card today but also I think I'll go get her a new money charm. She lost hers she told me which is too bad but no matter. It was time for another one me thinks. I'm going to cheat a bit and get an already made money spell.
Planted her cucumbers then watered areas that hadn't had any since the start of this cool trend. Alas, the feral cats have been in the yard again so today I'm going to get some bales of straw to dump around areas where they've been pooping the fuckers. Also should help with keeping weeds down and some soil moist where we need it. The sweet pepper plants are looking ok but not growing much. Dill is still alive in its not so great soil but I hope to add the delicious looking compost to amend the ground around it. I need a bigger pot for the scented Geranium so it can get nice and big! If we don't get some weeks of heat soon nothing is going to grow. I've had seeds in dirt for a week but nothing has happened. I finally took the plastic cover off the starter planter so they would get faster heat. Sunflowers already peeking out of the dirt near the fence line. Yay!
Now I have to finish some washing before I head out to do some Mom's day shopping. :) A great way to hit up Riverside me thinks.
