Oregon has, it seems some stronger laws on the environment but more importantly to a horse owner like me, I see a lot of ranches still availible for purchase. Of course I have 20+ yrs to go before I can retire and everything changes yearly especially during election years. :\ Anyway, since I've not been to Oregon, I am thinking of checking it out on a guest ranch or something like that Sustainability tour. That is more inline to what I seek as a noob to ranch/farm owning.
