Weddin' stuff
So Michelle and I have what we think is gonna be our cake topper/cake-topper-like-objects. Both of these were taken with her camera hence why the images are rather huge (feel free to comment on her taste in books/my taste in games/music if you can make anything out. Also, sorry about the bluriness but her digital camera doesn't have manual focus, or at least, not that I could find easily.).
While we don't exactly have a broad theme (so no renaissance wedding or prohibition-era wedding sadly) we're thinking of having the table decorations be from video games (and surprisingly this wasn't my idea), so we're thinking about divvying up each table into a game/series. So far we know there's a Shin Megami Tensei table (without Mara or Incubus, probably not Succubus either or Lilith now that I think about it), a Final Fantasy one, and probably Mega Man and Castlevania. Depending on how large our final guest list will determine how many games we'll have, if we keep this. I suppose they'll be a Mario table since that's the one video game series that practically anyone would recognize. Other than that we have the venue, and our biggest disagreement is on the necessity of a DJ (I'm in the firmly no camp myself). But yeah, our planning and such is coming along fairly well.
Oh, in other related news, I think our wedding party (is that the proper term?) will be small, two bridesmaids and a maid of honor, and two groomsmen and a best man, just to keep it balanced (since more of Michelle's friends are male than female it looks like).
