At a loss for a title
Well, at least the writing bug's bitten...
But while what I really ought to be doing is writing the Japanese speech I'm meant to give, this Sunday, at a local, yearly speech comeptition into which I was strong-armed, Japanese-style, by the head of the local Board of Education (superintendent, I suppose that'd be). Anyway, I find myself here, instead. Sometimes I wonder how I made it through 16 years of school, as great a procrastinator as I can be... but then, I think harder on it, and remember that it was an steady, inverse displacement of nervous, precocious, achieving child and an angsty, under-achieving, over-sized child.
(Dammit! Even when I'm in a good mood, I can't help but spit out the random self-negativity!)
Well, anyway, I ought to be writing said speech, but OH! what a of Engrish do I have for you, instead! I present to you: Guidance Mr McGruther for Miyoshi Speech Exchange Meeting, another helping of that good-old it-puts-the-lotion-on-the-skin creepy third person passive form of Engrish... (the better stuff's towards the end)
