Questions!

From the lovely . If you'd like me to ask you five questions, just say so!

1. Attending a sporting event: what sport?
I will happily attend any live sporting event anyone else might suggest to me, though I can't think of a single one I'd track down tickets to of my own accord. I find basketball and hockey the most fun to watch live, but I like watching baseball and tennis, too. It'd be fun to watch some less mainstream things live, like snowboarding or archery or something.

I'm most likely to see basketball games, these days, now that OKC has its own NBA team.

2. If time and money were not an issue, what would you do with your days?
A couple of things. I'd painstakingly renovate an old house, and I would probably spend about a year doing nothing but traveling the world. Those are projects, though, that would eventually come to an end. So day-to-day life? I really don't know how much it would change. If I had more time and more money, I would spend more of it (both time and money) on visiting friends and family who are far away.

3. Are you still writing?
Yup! I am writing here when I'm able to, and I'm also about halfway through a collection of stories that will ultimately be a completely different book than the one I thought I'd be writing right now.

4. When I come visit, what will we do?
First, I will take you here, home of one of the most extensive beer lists I've ever seen. Later, I will also take you here for fantastic Irish pub food and live music. Otherwise? I imagine we will talk and laugh a lot. We could check out the Myriad Gardens or the art museum, and chances are good that someone in my circle of acquaintances will be having an art show of some kind we could go to. And we could go hang out in the Paseo for an afternoon, too--there are all kinds of fun little shops and galleries to check out.

5. Tell me about some music you're into these days.
Nothing really stands out, my unabashed love affair with Lady Gaga notwithstanding. (I figure the options are love or hate, and she's become too ubiquitous to hate without being annoyed all the time.) My friend Jess recommended Vampire Weekend, and they've been growing on me as the songs come up in random shuffle. For the most part, I've been finding older things for the first time, or just rotating old favorites back into the regular mix.
