Salacious email addresses...

...are probably not the best place from which to send a cover letter and resume.

The cover letter and resume of adorablelover4u[at][domainname] were so professional and respectable that I had to respond and comment in my email asking for her salary requirements:

"....Also, I recommend that you create a second yahoo email account for job-search purposes. Your current email address might gain some points with hiring counsel hitting a midlife crisis, but you could lose plenty more with others worried by the salacious send address for your otherwise professional email. I have represented some extremely ‘nontraditional’ clients, so it only aroused a blink and a chuckle here, but I thought you might not have realized from what account you sent your email and resume."

She took it in good humor and sent thanks and a revised resume from a new email address. Unfortunately her salary requirements were too high; having already conversed with her somewhat, I sent her an email letting her know that was the reason why and that if we decided to pay more, we would look at her resume again (she was just on the far side of our cutoff amount).
