So the airconditioning has decided to stop working. Absolutely brilliant. I've busted out my old pajama shirt, which I'd worn for nearly ten years before retiring it in favor of my Hello Kitty pajamas. It's threadbare and coming apart at the seams, and thus is perfect for sleeping in a room that is hot as balls. argh.
In other news, I found out that my parents have donated money to the adoption agency that they adopted me from every year since I was born. And a not insignificant amount, considering our recent financial troubles. Dunno...it just sort of made me feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside. I really am lucky.
Unless it involves arguing on the internet about sexism, in which case I couldn't have worse luck if I'd shattered a dozen mirrors while walking under a ladder to avoid the herd of black cats trying to cross my path.
