A Weekend With Friends <3

So... my weekend has been great!!! :D  To start off with, on Friday, my friend Trent invited me and some of his other friends to go ice skating at the Plex. So, at 6:30, I went ice skating at the Plex with him and some of his other friends that I really don't know. It was alot of fun, and I had a great time, even though a fight happened there. I went to buy a soda, and I was the second person in line when these two little kids starting punching each other. The little kids where to my left of where I was standing, and the fight lasted maybe 5, 10 seconds, maybe? I don't know... I saw it though. The whole fight happened... right in front of me!
Just thinking about it, makes me think of when I was in elementary school, and the kids that I had to deal with that bullied me. It was painful thinking of that, but I thought of it nonetheless. Then yesterday, I was talking to my best friend Maggie on Facebook, and she asked me if I'd go to the mall with her and our friend Taylor. My mom was okay with that, and came up with the idea of Maggie spending the night. It was a great idea, and her parents said they were okay with her spending the night at my house too.
Even though I don't like the mall, I had a good time going to the mall with Maggie and Taylor. We went looking around in shops, looking for something Maggie really wanted to get. I'm pretty sure you all have heard of Sillybands, right? Well, if you haven't, they are these little, colored, rubber bracelets in the shape of animals, music notes, things like that. Well... that's what Maggie was in the search for. I've heard of them though before. They've become very popular lately among us teenagers.
So, we went into the mall, in stores looking for them. We found some in Hallmark, and Maggie and I bought some. I bought some for myself, because I've heard them, and I've seen people wearing them, but I don't have any of my own. I mean, I usally don't follow trends that go on at my school, and anywhere else, but I actually liked them so it was a first time thing. Like Uggs, for instance, I'm not really big on. They cost too much money, and are not worth the price. I mean, they are cute, I guess----but they are not worth the price. Crocs are another trend that I have no interest in.
Sorry, but those shoes are for little kids, not adults, and espically not for teenagers. They just are a pair of shoes I'd never wear, or buy. Another waste of money and time. Anyway, I never follow popular "trends" because most of the stuff that people consider "popular" is mostly stupid. These, however, I'll take into account in being interested in just because I think they are a little cute.  But the whole time in the mall, we where looking for those. The store we found them in was in Hallmark. Yes, Hallmark. Isn't that crazy?! After we found them and bought some, Maggie and I then went back to my house. We where going to go to Books a Million, because they have them there, but Maggie couldn't find her gift card to Books a Million in her stuff so we didn't go.
We spent most of the time at my house playing video games, and then after dinner, we watched the movie Up. I watched it the day before though, because we'd rented it at Blockbuster, but Maggie has really been wanting to see it for a while now, and so since we had it, we watched it. I finally was able to defeat a heartless that Maggie has been dying for me to defeat for awhile now. It was a heartless that I had a really hard time on that I'd defeated on my Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days game, but that the last time Maggie and I hung out, I wasn't able to defeat it.
I felt good about finally defeating it for her because apparently, she's been trying to get some of her other friends to defeat it for her and they've had no such luck whatsoever. Being a girl that plays video games also makes me feel better about it too, which goes to show you that girls can be good at stuff guys like to do too. YAY to girl power! Other than that, we didn't really do much. Just played video games, watched some movies, and talked, but that's about it.
