Sverige, Sverige, loved country (or not)

Just two more days of school! (Or three depends on how you count...) Tomorrow I've all the lessons as usual, but it's nothing hard just getting our grades and stuff. Wednesday might be no lessons at all. At least three lessons of four are already cancelled and I'm hoping for the last remainging too. Then on Thursday we finally finish! The year has been long even though it feels like it has just rushed past. It's ages since we started, yet it feels like it wasn't that long ago. Recognize the feeling? It probably has something to do with all the work... But it's over for now.

Today we had no school since it's our national holiday. The parliament finally made it not only national holiday but public holiday too, thus trying to make us celebrate it a little more. Not that anyone cares... We have no tradition of celebrating and won't begin just because we're off work. I have some sort of theory that old countries celebrate their holidays less than newer ones. Like the USA, France and Norway, they have a day of freedom or something like that. Sweden and Denmark (as far as I know) are old and don't celbrate very much. Nothing important has happened lately enough for us to keep a tradition of celebrating.

In other news, since I read a post where I complained about not having any job, I have a job for a month in July/August! I will be working as a newspaperdealer (the one who comes early in the morning and leaves your paper). Apart from money I will get a quite strange sleeping-pattern, I start work at 4 o'clock. But I get money so that's good enough and my best friend has the same job (just different district) so we can have strange sleeping-patterns together.
