craziness i tell ya. friends hooking up, other friends breaking up... my ugly past flew in from out of town. keep 'missing' her calls... went window shopping today. discussed plans for playing with people... so cold outside, all i want to do is sleep through my classes. failed at everything but this right now. i never saw this coming. this is working... first of the last month. high atop the city. retracing pasts. open handedly, with december fingers, welcoming the future. hadnt seen the city lights in winter before. i stay on the path, she deviates. i am one step behind. cautiously looking down with every advancement. she runs with her head to the sky and arms outstretched. somehow we managed to bump heads and laugh about it.
