so tired of scratchy contacts. it makes this whole beautiful season hurt... only three more days until the dad tries to create a memorable thanksgiving day meal by pressure cooking a turkey. side note: NOT NORMAL!!! who really pressure cooks anything these days? instead, i think he is going to treat us to a fine meal at the old country buffet. which is usually reserved for christmas. wow, for a city kid i sound pretty white trash, celebrating jesus day at a buffet... so clever am i... im excited to meet sirbrinas moms and dads. a little nervous though. meeting parents is always a bit sketchy. especially when you are being introduced as the 'girlfriend' for the first time. oh well, she will be introduced to my completely dysfunctional family, so i am sure everything will even itself out...
