My Fight at Work:
Me: I'm not going to take that party at lunch.
Manager: First Tom and now you. Who do you think I am?
Me: I know exactly who you are. You're the guy that sits in the office all day and doesn't do a fucking thing.
Manager: Uhh...
Me: I don't want that party because I won't make any money today if I do and I'm already doing their breakfast and drinks.
Manager: Well why didn't you just say that?
Me: Just go back to the office.
That was about 10 this morning. And for the rest of the day I was called a hero. When the other managers came in he didn't say a word. I would feel bad if what I said wasn't true, but it is and I don't feel bad. In fact, I feel pretty empowered.
